The ‘Heritage by Bowmer Bond‘ range of webbings manufactured within our 150 year old Ashbourne mill represent a return to the original method of narrow fabric weaving.
The shuttlelooms we employ operate in the same way as did the looms that marked the start of the Industrial Revolution and, whilst they may appear slow and unsophisticted in comparison to their modern counterparts, the product they create harks back to a previous era where quality and craftsmanship mattered above all else.
The fully woven-edge nature of the manufacture also creates a product that is inherently more durable than the modern equivalent along with increased edge abrasion resistance. The visual differences may be slight, but, to the discerning eye and those whom searching for originality, these webbings are unsurpassed.
